In 2007, the Carolina Mountain Woodturners established a lasting, ongoing endowment, meant to further the educational mission of our chapter.  The endowment fund was started with approximately $60,000 and is hoped to grow at or above 5% annually.

In 2008, the Board voted to use a small portion of the fund to offset TLC class admission for CMW members in good standing.
